The lovely Jolanda came in today to try on some dresses for tonight’s launch of HBO-channel in the Netherlands.
We had the chance to have a little Q&A with her.
Q: Why this outfit?
A: Because of the colors and the contrast. It’s feminine and still powerful. I love that.
Q: Who is your favorite designer and why?
A: Mattijs van Bergen. He is my best friend. I know him very well and because I know how much energy he puts in his collection I admire it. I’m his muse and he is always telling me how everything he makes suits me well. My personality and energy match the brand. With my length of 1.85 meters I can wear a lot. During Amsterdam Fashion Week I wore Sage & Ivy, they also work with the beautiful colors and strong contrasts.
Q: Could you describe your own style?
A: As I said, I love contrast, I love playing with fashion, always have. Even when I was a little girl, I wanted to dress myself instead of my mother, so I could already use my creativity. Over the years and especially during my time modeling, I developed my personal style and got the chance to increase my knowledge of products.
