ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES

Support: One Day Without Shoes
Walk a day without shoes on the 16th of April, 2013.
Here, everyone has a few pairs of shoes in their closet, but in other parts of the world this is not always obvious.
There are even children who have no single pair of shoes in their possession which even can have negative effects on their health and the chance to go to school.
TOMS organizes each year the ‘One Day Without Shoes’ event to draw attention to this matter.
In the Netherlands celebrities such as singer Alain Clark, Jackie editor Bastiaan van Schaik, journalist and columnist Beertje van Beers, actor Barry Atsma, actress Carolien Spoor and designer Bas Kosters left there shoes at home last year together with a large number of people. This year on the 16th of April everyone is asked to spend one day barefoot.
Will you join this event?
