Triwa worked together with street artists Supakitch & Koralie for this season’s watches and sunglasses. They are inspired by colorful Japanese manga-inspired murals. Manga is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. The couple had made two limited edition timepieces for Triwa, made of stainless steel, hand cut acetate and mineral glass. The Supakitch Nevil and the Koralie Brasco Chrono.
In the video you can see them working on a mural for the exhibition Metroplastique in Paris.
The spring/summer collection is inspired by the short but lively summer in Stockholm. The sunglasses have acetate frames in subtle shades of polished black, Havana brown, caramel and transparent pink with bright accentuated temple tips in turquoise, pink, burgundy and green grass. What else could we want for this spring and summer?
Triwa was founded in Stockholm in 2006 with the purpose of designing stylish, fun and trendy watches and offering them for an affordable price. Inpiration is gained in Italy where watches are more seen as a fashion accessory than as an object to read the time. The watches are offered in exciting and eye-catching colors and materials.
